I was just wondering how the Greeks may have ben unable to pronounce Kublai Khan and might have come up with their Grecian version of your name, like Sandracottus for Chandragupta or Porus for Paurava:scan:

Hey just wondering do you have more indian mytho, history/lit questions. I"m an Indian born and brought up in bangalore but now living in the states.

Just wondering where in bangalore are you from?

OH although porous for Paurauva is an excepted name while teaching kids of the lower standards Ie. 3rd or fourth standard.

I myself was thought it as both Pourous and Paurava, seeing i was tought in a central and state school *hides*
