Installation Error - Please help

When I try to install, after putting the second CD in and after the install is 99.999999% done when it is installing this file
"C:\...\Sid Mier's Civilization 4.msi" I get the following error:

Feature transfer error

Feature: C++ Runtime Libraries 7.1
Component:
File:
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)


I have tried cleaning the disk. I have tried installing in safe mode. I have tried in both cd-drives. I have tried in another computer. I have tried deleting the drivers for my cd drive and reinstalling them. Every time the same error.

Are you trying to install from an administrator account?

I was in admin when I tried to install from safe mode, but not in regular mode. Still got same error in safe mode.

Try admin in normal mode - It has to do with windows file protection, apparently.

i have the same problem and tryed with adminstration and still same problem hu?
