Installation Problem !

I have Civilization 4 , 1 disk ... normal game

i cannot install , when i insert the game it comes up with Play Readme and Exit , BEFORE i have installed , i tried clicking Setup.exe , and it ran the first time , and installed DirectX , and then nothing happened , i have clicked on it again , and it just loads a bar , then does nothing .

i contacted them( 2kGames) and they said something about renaming a file ?

Please Help I WANT TO PLAY

It looks like it was already installed or something of the sort. Have you previously installed the game?

Nope , never installed ANYTHING to do with Civ4

and when insert the disk and go to My Computer , Civ4 is not Recognised , like the computer reads that its there , but Civ4 has no Icon

Do you have naother cd drive you can try it in?

i've tried it in the CD-ROM drive , but then my computer cannot find a disk , i put it in my DVD-ROM drive and it reads that theres a disk , but then i get the problem
