Problem installing the MOD

Hi, I was very fond of this mod before Civ 5 came out and recently wanted to reinstall it on my new laptop. So I bought Civ4 complete version from Steam, installed it and wanted to install the RI mod via the recent setup.exe file. Unfortunately the setup can't locate CIV4 Beyond the sword on my computer. The game itself (Civ4 BTS) is running good, the setup just doesn't want to install. If I choose the folder in my documents (Documents/My Games/Beyond the Sword/MOD) I can't choose a folder to install it. Any advice?

This mod (and most other mods) isn't supposed to go into "Documents" folder. What you need is the actual location of your game, which will be something along the lines of "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword/Beyond the Sword" (where the game executable file is located, Civ4BeyondSword.exe)
