Installing Conquests over Vanilla

I have Vanilla patched to 1.29f.
Just bought Conquests. Can I install it directly over vanilla? Do I need to reinstall? And in which order should I patch, then?

You need Vanilla to install Conquests, so install away!

But will Conquests run properly on a patched vanilla, or does it require the out-of-the-box, unpatched vanilla?

No it installs fine over the patched version, you'll need to get the latest patch for Conquests though.

It should install the latest 1.29 VC3 patch if it's not there.
