Installlatiuon problem:set83

I have a problem...when I try to install the game by clicking on setup, i just receive following message: set83f has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Does anybody know what should be done?

Some additions....
The error message is usually something like: set84D.tmp has encounterd a problem and needs to close.

The name of the tmp. file is usually different: set84f.tmp, set84E.tmp etc...

So, is the promblem with tmp-files? What should I do to make the installation run correctly?
