Internet Explorer freeze

Hi,

Need help with IE5.5.
It suddenly freezes, and I have to reboot to unblock it. It does this everytime. Is this ICQ ? Icq is q pain, it keeps popping up on me when I launch IE unless I disable it before, but that's annoying

I'm having a little trouble deciphering your post.

So IE 5.5 freezes when ever you open it? You should probably try to repair the installation. Go to "Start" --> "Settings" --> "Control Panel" --> "Add/Remove Programs" --> Highlight "Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5" --> Click "Add/Remove" --> Then select Repair.

You could also try reinstalling it. A little more details into the background of the problem would help.

Does it freeze randomly? Or you were doing something? Downloading? Loading page?
I don't think it's icq, although I've never used it. And which OS are you using?

BTW, you should use icq 99 instead of 2000b. All my friends told me that. 2000 is really heavy and pain in the < tuuuut >

yeah.. i should have stuck with icq 99.. but noooooo. .. SOMEONE looks over at corn BUGED ME... and BOTHERED ME.. and PUSHED me to install it and now i'm to lazy to go back..

Too lazy to go back will cost you hours of efforts... reinstalling Winwin. And that will be more unpleasant than installing icq99.

Btw, Corn, I was about to become crazy this afternoon. With the Dell PC on my labs

their casing design is horrible. Can you imagine I lost 1 hour (yes 1 hour) to try to open the PC to add a PCI card. Stupid system

I was really mad. Why couldn't they do some classic box, easy to open. Look at the G4 boxes.
