In war, evil will be done by both sides. Whats messed up is that this woman has done nothing but good her entire life and yet she is still butchered like an animal. Good things happen to bad people, and bad things happen to good people. Somehow I wish we could go back to the days of when "gentlemen" fought wars. But of course even then there would be atrocities.

We've heard about the evil deed done of the American soldier killing a Iraqi prisoner in cold blood. I think it is fair that there be a thread for an evil deed done by the other side.
This is quite a bit less interesting, because of course the people who did this were wrong, and should be severely punished. No one but psychopathic criminals would think this was a good thing. What was interesting about the soldier was that there were a lot of assumptions that could be made, varying reactions, and meaningful discussions - it was a gray area. Not much to say about this woman - it's horrible, it's wrong, it's sad, etc. No defense for it at all - it's very black and white, regardless of point of view.

I think it is very telling of the sorry state of this board that this is only the fifth post on this topic, while the topic on the American soldier is eight pages deep. :cringe:

What, exactly, do you expect people to say?

This is a debate forum. What is there here to debate?

Ok, be less saddened.....I will discuss it! :)

It's atrocious! Now discuss

Not much to discuss. Kill the terrorists :ar15:

Actually in strategic sense, the insurgents got alot to benefits from killing her. One is to stop all the humanitarian aids to Iraq and then continue to terrorize and frighten potential aids workers to go to Iraq.

By stopping the flow humanitarian aids, this will increase the iraqis dissatifaction of the Coalition occupier. Thus increasing the likelihood of more recruits, uprising and continue non-cooperative between the Iraqis and Coalition.

Thats why, they targetting organization like the UN HQ, Red cross HQ and other humanitarian NGO.

Also the humanitarian are not given adaquate protections from the occupying army. One reason is the humanitarian groups dare to venture into places that they feel need help but the army are not wiling to guarantee their safety there. 1 is lack of resources and also lack of manpower. This once again prove to the world that Iraq is in a mess no matter how the PM of Iraq puts it.

So the murdering of a peaceful UN worker does achieve alot more than just a killing of a common US soldier.

What can I say, to make this more controversial. The degree of bestiality on the arab side is bigger, with cutting off limbs, the graphic visualization of violence, torture, captivity and so on, where the American war criminals are kind of "lost dudes" on steroids and drugs, unable to control challenging situations, klling in affect, and following their porn industry inspired sexual transgressions in the field and military installations like Abu Ghraib. A militaristic, snesation driven material, secular hedonist and sexual culture clash with a fascist, theological, savage, traditionalist, patrimonial and bestial culture .

This just shows how much these people hate Iraq. They do not want the people of Iraq to be free, they want them to be in fear of there brutal Islamic beliefs. If they want Iraq to be liberated, then they are the ones that should leave. It is only once they do that, we will see a truely liberated Iraq. If they want the Americans to go, they are causing them to stay even longer to make the people truely free.

I personally am sickened that there are people in this world who would kidnap and kill aid workers who do nothing more than try to help others. This is almost as bad as someone killing Mother Theresa... :(

not a iraqi prisoner

24-27 cases are known

not to mention torture etc

yes,now when i think about it who wouldnt prefer beeing murdered by a 'lost dude' having an erection while doing it(porn industry inspired),vomiting on your corpse, coz' he's high on dope and all. hey, maybe even humming bloodhound gang while doing it...what a brilliant point you've made there.

At least I am not a hypocrite, this is the two extremes that project harm on the other side. War is evil, no question about it. However, sexual torture and affect murder of POWs contrasted to tearing of a persons head with a rusty saw while praising an esoteric deity and some second rate cultural power in order to dethronize some foreign culture either way, makes you think. Should we really coexist with those people, even if only one percent them are a liability. Do we prefer our own dangerous people to their
dangerous people. At least we know our own cultural brutality and can relate to it.

they hate your guts coz you've entered their country for nothing, who can blame them.and sorry but your post doesnt make sense to me,i cant tell the difference among murderers.

Juka, you are indeed right. We got nothing there to do. But we do not want to import them either. We should leave that place, and not import them. Let them keep their land, and let us maintain our culture and lifestyle.
