I have never purchase a game on that website before, but I think that price is amazing, do you have any experience, is it trustworthy.

And after purchase, I do I download the game.

Thanks

D2D is just as reliable as Gamersgate or Steam, my only problem with them is that they usually have some crap like "The offer doesnt stand for your region" while this never ever is the case with GG or Steam. But are you sure it costs only 7 bucks? Cause i just checked and it says that it is 27 pounds (which is around 45 bucks maybe?)

Guczy, i think that you are being directed from the US site to the UK, the link above works and i see the 16.98.

Yeah, that's what i said as option 1, in the older days of D2D it would just say that i can go f*** myself and cant't buy the game, now it's redirecting me to where i actually could get it, which is way better :-)

In the case of Civ V, what you get off D2D is a key to unlock and download the game on Steam. From thereon it behaves as a Steam game, updating automatically, and you can re-download it through Steam as often as you like.

It's been reliable for me: this is how I originally pre-ordered the game last year.

Problem for us outside the US to get a nice deal like that :( It wont let me use my credit card there and i guess i have to be a US citizen also. Shame i missed out on the gamersgate deal !

Actually CIV was 10 euros at gamersgate 3 days ago :-)

I've bought a few games from D2D, service has been good so far. And yeah, in the case of Civ5 its through steam anyways haha.

Steam games sold there activate on Steam so its fine.

I don't buy from there though or post sales from them, as they've never accepted my money the two times I tried to buy something and they are part of IGNorant.com which is a horrible website. They used to and may still do have issues with patches being very late though, but I haven't heard of any major problems besides that.

D2D is fine, it's one of my preferrred digital vendors, since it doesn't put a client on your machine like steam that runs, and takes ages, every time you run a game. I can live with Steam, and I buy games thru Steam if I can't buy them elsewhere, but I really, really dislike having to run games thru the steam client. No other digital vendor I use does that crap (D2D, Impulse, Amazon).

They actually did get bought by Gamefly IIRC.

Anyway, I've never had any problems with them, although the first purchase there can be kind of annoying (which was, of course, Civ V). The verification failed for whatever reason and so I had to email them, but it didn't take too long to get a reply back and have it all sorted out.

anyway, I can't buy it, it's country restricted. Maybe buy it directly on the steam.

Thanks for your helps.
