Is this a bug / exploit / feature??

I was building a shedload of wonders, and it was neck and neck whether I would pop a Great Scientist or Engineer. They both reached 100 on the same turn, and to my surprise, I received both.

Sounds like a bug to me... if not it's a handy tool - if a bit tedious to micromanage. The cost of the next Great Chap goes up to 300, but it still means you save 100GP overall.

What do you think?

You know, in some ways, this is the kind of thing I'd almost like them to keep in the game as a reward for careful micromanagement. But, sounds like a bug to me. I'll give it a test later on.

Not being cynical, but from a historical perspective, I'd be surprised if this wasn't a bug.

The reason is that in Civ4 where GPP thresholds were across cities, you'd have trouble popping a GA on the same turn in two separate cities (unless your GPP accumulation was ridiculously high). So you'd have to micromanage the lower GPP producer to pop one turn before the higher. Otherwise your cultural victory would be delayed.

I don't think it's a bug. It's been talked about since before the second patch and has yet to be patched so I don't think it's something that they want to take out. I guess that makes it a feature since they've already removed multiple "exploits" as well.
