The title says it all. I have friends I play Civ 5 with. We've played with Lekmod in the past. I'm wondering if Vox Populi is any good for multiplayer gameplay (assume turns are on hybrid or simultaneous). The mod is a great singleplayer experience of course, but I'm not sure how that transfers over to multiplayer.

Biggest issue I hear about is that its not been stability tested for multiplayer.
I've read about certain builds that is considered more stable (don't recall which).
Most multiplayer civ that I've read about use veto systems where each player is allowed to veto a civ, even tho VP is far better balanced than vanilla there are certain civs that are stronger than others.

i only play multiplayer and it is way way more balance than the base game.
About civ balance it's all about your victory goal, some civ are more suited for some victory type than other.

What i really like is: there is NO best social policy, technology path etc.. compare to the base game where you go tradition -> rationalism and do the top part of the technology tree.

About stability unfortunately there is some issue especially late game

I have a few questions for you.

1. Do you play with nukes?
2. Do you use vassalage at all?
3. Do you use simultaneous, hybrid, etc.?

Vassalage is a must have, because i use to play with 4-6 friends, vassalage became handy when player who lose a war may continue to play and still have a chance to win (because other will try to free him xD).
But we have some rule about war so it depends if you play only with friends or not. But anyway i didn't see any reason to ban vassalage

I'm a bit curious. Does anyone saw a problem about vassalage?

We allow nuke, we didn't have any issue with them.

we play in simultaneous, because even in hybrid war become SOOOOO LONG and for those who are not in war it is very annoying to wait those who are at war.

just to mention: DISABLE event!!! we didn't saw it first but when you reach industrial era, BIG stability issues occure, we had to give up a game since not only desync goes every turn but they were much much longer than before.
