I am currently working on a scenario to reflect one of the current Mid East conflicts. The focus will be on Israel & Palestine, but will also include parts of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon & Syria.

I currently have an alpha version that is a rough playable scenario. I am looking for anyone interested in helping out to work on any of the following areas: general & civ specific units (new or borrowed from creators), map creation (terrain, resources &/or city placement), tech tree (new tree to replace indust/modern ages), testing, civ knowledge, gameplay, etc.

As I said, I do have an alpha version. The map includes a fairly equal amount of land for each of the 6 Civs to work with. Resources are limited as it's hard to distinguish which are avail/unavailable considering the closeness in terms of actual geography of that area. I did add some just to keep the resource aspect an integral part of the game, but could use some more! There are about 7-10 cities each & some poor, but open, areas for growth. Obviously this means the map itself is rather small. This is intentional for purposes of testing other aspects of the game. Once it's ready for release, a final beta will be made with a larger map. Then both will be released as scenarios (so people can choose their map size).

Units are pretty diverse. Most were player creations, and so many became Civ specific once in game. With only 2 ages to work with (1950/70 - present with monthly turn increments?) it won't be a big deal to leave the unit upgrades limited. However, I would like to see another group for better gameplay. Someone knowledgable on the region would be quite useful in any new additions. Also, specific units or actual creations would be nice for those who are ambitious, as many units are mods of other units.

Leaderheads, mobile or not, would be nice. I basically have just stole pictures from other current Civs at this point, but it seems to work okay.

The tech tree itself is the only area I haven't played with yet. I would like to see a tech unlock Civ specific units for each Civ. That seems workable, but I don't know if the current tree branches nicely or not. It may have to be altered...we'll see.

Beyond that, I guess I am looking at a 1950's, 60's or 70's start date with monthly turn increments, ending shortly after the present day. Basic units, upgraded units, modern units, and maybe cutting edge units available for production.

I'll be posting the beta version soon for those of you who want to see what you're getting into first :rolleyes: Suggestions, additional info, rants & raves welcome. Can't please everyone, but hope to get a solid playable scenario out.
