Hi all, I hope you can help me with a small issue I've been having while trying to install Blue Marble for FFH2. I run Civ BTS on a Windows 10 machine through Steam, which I believe to be the main source of my problems. I have installed FFH2 to the "steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Mods" folder, which is the only place I can put mods and have them work. However, when I attempt to run the Blue Marble texture updater (from here), I receive a message that says "Setup cannot find an existing version of Fall From Heaven v.41. Please make sure you are using v.41 of Fall From Heaven."

So, I uninstalled FFH2, then reinstalled it in the Steam location, and attempted once again to get the Blue Marble patcher to work. Once again, no dice. I know these forums are pretty dead, but any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

It sounds like the installer is too smart. My guess is that the Blue Marble for FFH2 installer only knows how to find the non-steam version of Civilization IV.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Oh well, Blue Marble would have been nice but it's not necessary. Thanks for the help!

I have used the Blue Marble for Fall from Heaven 2 installer in an empty folder to get the required files to make it work. Unzip the contents of the file attached to this post somewhere, and paste them inside your Fall from Heaven 2 mod folder (so that the Assets folder inside the zip is merged with the Assets folder of your Fall from Heaven 2 installation). Make a backup of your Fall from Heaven 2 folder before doing this, or be ready to delete it and reinstall everything in case that anything goes wrong. Enjoy, let me know if there are any problems!

Wow, thank you very much. Copying and pasting that into the FfH2 folder worked like a charm. I really appreciate it.
