This is a small-sized world map, with 31 civs.
I haven't done much playtesting but it seems fine, and is fairly balanced, although some civs did remain with only 1 city (Greeks, Romans, Ottomans, Byzantines).

I've included the Australasian continent although i was wondering whether or not to have it. it just serves as extra land and resources.

BTW: the map is a little distorted, but it is easily recognisable as a world map.
Also, i have included some land bridges, i.e. between southern england and france, scotland and the norselands, africa and the mid-east. this is just to represent the ease of travel and make places less isolated in terms of gameplay. the bridges are very slight.

it's for conquests v1.12
have fun

i am open to ANY suggestions to make this scenario better.
it will available as soon as i can make a zip file and upload it.

I played your scenario and found it very interesting! :goodjob:

However, I was annoyed by a few things...

1. There are too many civs, and my computer keeps freezing!
2. It's very difficult to find room to expand due to the small amount of land.
3. There is not enough food or production in my area (I chose Babylon), and I was soon behind in the tech race, even though I was a Scientific civ and spent 70% of funds on researching techs!

Nevertheless, it was a very fun game (until Persia declared war on me for no reason and I was quickly trashed!). I'd just think about gameplay balance with regards to the amount of production/food - maybe you should increase this because of the number of civs (it can get frustrating that someone else has an unfair advantage due to their placement on the map).

thanks for the reply!

with regard to the problems,

1. feel free to change the number of civs if it's causing problems, although i did it on purporse because i thought it'd be cool to have all those civs.
2. that's the challenge! try another civ- there is least room in europe and the mid-east. you'd be lucky to have 3-4 cities though. try japan- they have enough room on their island for 3 cities and they can quickly expand to the south.
3. I'll have a look at the map and see if i can add some bonus resources, cattle etc. i tried to make it balanced which meant adding and deleting resources.

thanks for playing
