OK, I never played multiplayer before so bear with me.
I am going to TRY to start a game at 4:30pm eastern USA time today, June 4. Anyone who wants to control a civ is welcome to. This is my first time hosting or even playing a MP game so consider this a practice game. Join anytime and see if there is a civ available.
I have MP Gold with the latest patch.
Game will be Emperor, 2x2x, large world.
Large world means that you should have time to grab a civ before a human reaches it.

As I said, this is a practice game. Let's see how it works out.
UPDATE:
I had only one person try to connect so far, and I seem to have lost him or her. So, I am going to continue with this game for a while and then I am going to start another one at 8pm (Eastern US) tonight. If you read this after 8pm, try joining anyway because it still might be early in the game.
UPDATE #2: Am I doing something wrong? I get to the "available players" window and it lists "waiting for players". When some one finally appears on the list, I press the "start game" button. I select my tribe and then it goes to "waiting for players to join game"... and then nothing happens. Next person who tries joins, please icq me so I can figure out what's going wrong.
