I'd like to join an ongoing war, and then betray my ally half way through it. Can this be done?
A joint war lasts 20 turns, but is there an option to leave the pact before that? I.e. Does this work like a friendship/alliance that prevents you from warring?
Below is a more detailed explanation of why I want to do this.

Player A is at war with player B and has player B's city under siege, but he is not actually attacking it. He's just waiting for reinforcements and his siege equipment to arrive.
By my assessment, I'd be better off attacking player A's army before the reinforcements arrive, however he is in player B's territory. So...
I have the option to join player B's war by using the 'Join Ongoing War' feature. Player B is an AI, and they will accept my joining the war, and will also trade open borders and some gold for it. By doing this I avoid a three way war, and get some perks. However....
Having chased player A's army out of player B's territory, I'd like the option to betray player B and take the city myself.
I could declare war on both players, but then I wouldn't get the gold from player B and I might suffer unnecessary casualties in a three way war. I also have a trade pact with player B which would be a shame to lose until I have to.
