Just one more question, and then I'll be able to upload my Stargate mod. Starting locations. I know how to right click on a spot and assign it to one civ, and I was just told how to do the same thing using the icons on the map. Problem is, it will not let me click on the starting location or colony option. I know I have clicked something or other, I just have no idea what it was or how to correct it. Ideas?

Did you try deleting the previous Starting Location before assigning a new one?

I did. And I generated a new map with no locations as well. Sometimes modding leaves me feeling so stupid.

Worry not. You are sooooo not alone in that.

I can only suggest otherwise obvious things: did you make sure to 'set' (pick) a Civilization (by clicking the Blue Shield) beforehand?

I did, I still get the naught symbol when I put the cursor over land or sea.
