read the technicals in above link, in lawsuit being filed by EFF

Former AT&T technician Mark Klein said:
"Despite what we are hearing, and considering the public track record of this administration, I simply do not believe their claims that the NSA's spying program is really limited to foreign communications or is otherwise consistent with the NSA's charter or with FISA," Klein's wrote. "And unlike the controversy over targeted wiretaps of individuals' phone calls, this potential spying appears to be applied wholesale to all sorts of internet communications of countless citizens."

Yet the people who insisted that this program was only being used to eavesdrop on people making calls to terrorists (Even then, Bush had still lied when he said a wiretap was still required) in other countries will still argue the president did no wrong.

Well, if Mark Klein (Whoever he is) think the Bush administration is lying, then it must be true! Storm the White House, yaaargh!

Is it too much to ask for some evidence? I don't like running suicidally into a storm of bullets being fired by a ticked off Secret Service over someone else's gut feeling.

He gave documents to EFF and they presented them to the court. The Bush administration asked for them to be sealed due to National Security. They get 5 days to make their case. If they're wrong then the documents will be opened and EFF will have a public case. If they're right, then we'll definitely wonder why they had to be sealed.
