Are there any "secret" maps with the world seed #'s? I mean, is there a really cool or exotic map if you put in a specific world seed #? I remember playing a game and going to a website for a specific world seed # to get a cool map (I think it was SimCity).

yes there is but I think you start at a different location each time. If you have C3C , you can directly enter the world seed at the map selection screen.

There's more than 1 billion random maps in C3c when you think about it. Each world seed # is based on the other choices. If you choose tiny map as opposed to standard map for world seed #1, the two maps will look nothing alike.

I have also heard that the rsources might be distributed slightly different, even if it's the same world seed.

Yes I have tried a few time to recreate maps from here and Poly using the World seed and not gotten the same conditions.

If I have the complete setting for age and such, it seems to give the same civs, but some times resources are not identical. I may have missed something, but it was not perfect.

Yes, I could probably do it better now by using Seed Beast to get all the settings and Civs. I have not tried lately.
