laptop problems

a buddy of mine has a problem :"I've had my laptop for a couple of days and had no problems up till now.
My screen doesn't seem to work, even though my laptop is turned on. ( there is enough energy.)
It's a Packard Bell.
Any helpfull feedback would be appreciated."

Sorry if it seems a cop out, but it honestly is probably what's wrong. If he's only had it a few days, is it still under warranty?

if it's broken after 3 days it's probably a manufacturing defect and he should send it back in to get a replacement.

i have a problem too my micro sd adapter isnt working, i put my memory card in the adapter and then put the adapter in the computer and it isnt working any advice?
