Launching the Spaceship

Perhaps one of you could help me. I've built every available component for the Spaceship. I would like to launch it, however, I can't get back to the Spaceship view. I know to press the in the bottom right-hand window and/or to press F10 but neither work! Is this a comp. problem or is there some glich in the game? If this help in finding the solution...Its a Sony Vaio laptop with Windows 2000 installed!

Have you researched the Laser? (that's usually the last component, to build Party Lounge, I think)

Otherwise, if I were you I'd post a savegame here so someone can take a look at it. BTW make sure you're patched up to Civ 3 1.29f or PTW 1.14, although that hasn't been a problem.

Have you won/lost the game in some other manner. Once you do that you cannot launch the spaceship if you keep playing after your score has been given.

Oh, I've already won the game. It did it before, also after I had already won, so I started a new game and it did it again, but I had already won via Domination/Cultural supremecy!

I guess I'll start a new won and strive to win via Space or I'll just set the SPace Race as the only form of Victory. Either way I'd like to see how that goes.
