This is the official debate thread for all candidates for governor of Bohemia. All candidates who have accepted nominations for this position should respond to these debate questions in full.

1. A two part question, answer briefly please: How do you feel about turn-chats and is your position that they should continue as is, or do you favor the concept of private/closed door turn sessions by the DP?
2. What qualifications and experience do you have for the position you are running for?
3. If you are given the chance to name a city, what would you name it?
4. Are you familliar with all of our laws?
5. Do you abide by them?
6. Question for younger candidates: Hypothetical Situation - You totally fail a math test. You realize that this effects your grade in a big way. Which would you do? A- Study harder, even if it meant loosing forum time; or B- Let your grades plummet and continue on with the demogame.
7. How do you stand to the proposal of having very small provinces at the start to get to about 10 governors quick and then redesign the provincial borders for having a solid number of about 10 governors throughout most of the game? (formerly known as the "Provincial Growth Formula")
8. Explain in one sentence why the citizens should vote for you instead of your opponents.
9. What difficulty level do you normally play the Civilization 3 game at?
10. If not Emperor or higher, do you feel comfortable playing at an Emperor level in this game?
11. Do you have a working Civilization 3 game patched to version 1.29?
12. Will you support RPG in your province?
13. Will you give mayors the right to post build queues?
14. Which other rights will you give to mayors?
15. How do you think you can manage to involve citizens in provincial decissions?
16. What makes a good Governor?
17. Do you keep in regular contact with the other citizens of your current home province?
18. Do you have pride in your province? What does this mean to you?
19. Would you appoint mayors?
20. Would you allow National Parks in your province?
21. Are turn chats a luxury or a nessessity for a Governor?
22. If offered a leader position and a governor position, which would you take?

1. i am in full support of turn chats for the same reason that i feel the turn chats should remain as they are. closed-door turn chats would simply promote the growth of corruption by removing the people from the machinery of administration

2. i was the lt. governor appointee for almightyjosh and was subsequently the replacement governor appointee for chieftess

3. if given the chance, i would name it Santa Evita after my personal role model, Maria Eva Duarte de PERON (capitalization is hers)

5. i was once banned for spamming, but under thoroughly innocent circumstances

7. i am opposed to the formula because i fear it would create reorganizations which would prove confusing and frustrating. provinces would also lose their unique history and identity

10. i feel judiciously cautious, but nontheless thoroughly confident

11. i have the working game, but as i am on a mac i am sometimes slightly behind on version numbers

13. only if that is supported by a popular poll, however i will always keep my door open to mayors with ideas

14. ideally, mayors would be able to organize the workers in their city as well

15. i will hold all meetings at the rebel pub and brewery to promote citizen participation. when in doubt, i will err on the side of referendum

16. the governors primary qualities should be integrity, humanism, and a concern for the will and welfare of the people

18. of course i have pride in my province, after all it is where our entire civilization began. it is the adiministrative nerve centre of the nation

19. i personally believe mayors should be elected, but unless the quorum is eliminated that will be statistically impossible. therefore, i will appoint mayors who will be ratified by a poll of the citizens of the concerned city

21. a necessity, the governor must be available at all times and places to ensure the welfare of the province

22. governor. leaders are too far removed from the people to serve them efficiently on a personal level

23. i check the entirety of the forums twice a day. checking hot topics repeatedly throughout the day when they arise. if elected, i would attempt to check more often
