I am playing a game in which Alexander asks me to join him in a war vs Mansu. I accept.

On the same turn, Mansu become Alex's vassal.

So now I am at war with Alex and Mansu!

Has this happened to anyone else?

this says that was fixed since 2.08 patch

I think you should get the latest patch, as feldmarshall mentioned, ths was supposed to be fixed already.
