Heya folks!

My latest video Let's Play series, where I play the Byzantines in G&K, is nearing completion so I figured it was a good time to drop a link to the playlist:

Note that this series started on the day of release as represents a first-time playthrough of G&K ("blind"), so I'm discovering the new features as I play.

If I recall correctly, I'm using the "Continents Plus" map scripts from the Explorer's DLC.

This map script really confused me at first as I did not read the description before using it. I couldn't find any city states until turn 150 as I did not realise they were on islands. I just thought that I had missed them as it was a huge map. As I was going for a city state centric approach initially it compleatly mucked up my early game and diplo win.

Really you shouldn't overexpand, but only take cities, where you can find luxury resources. I would not make peace with Persia until he is willing to give you Gold/Gold per turn!

This Gold you could spend in your infrastructure and to find the unmet players...
