Lichdom

[Hybrid State]

Hi,

I'm playing as Calabim and now I have an archmage with Death III. How can I change him into a lich? The lichdom spell icon is deactivated all the time. The summon wraith spell works.
I play the newest version of FfH 2.

Two possibilities come to mind, either
1) you already cast a spell this turn.
2) You already have 4 other Lich units. They are national units as well.

Or somehow your archmage isn't alive.

Make sure you are using Patch h. There was bug for lichdom fixed in that patch.

Lichdom doesn't require the unit be alive, only that it isn't a Puppet or Flesh Golem. In my version it has to be alive, but Kael didn't add this requirement because he didn't want to limit the Infernals to fewer casters than other civs.

Problem solved! I had the g-patch installed, and when I installed the h-patch, the lichdom icon activated. Thanks!
