Load error from sub-folder

I created a sub-folder in the gamesave folder. The saved games there won't load. I think this worked with my previous game, why not now?

Maybe it only works if I save the game in the sub-folder, and not if I move a saved game?

Or maybe I remember incorrectly and it never worked that way.
