Greetings everyone,
Although I've played Civ 1-3, this is the first time I've posted in these forums, or read them on a regular basis. My question is regarding Mod installation.
I have recently downloaded several mods or custom assets. I want to know how to add these files to the game so that I have the flexibility to play the game in it's original form and in the modded form.
I've read that there is a folder that will allow me to add custom assets and such without changing the original files. If that is the case, how do I install the files there? Also, if someone else comes out with better flags or flags that fit some future purpose, how can I have the flexibility of choosing which options to install?
I'm also interested in adding new maps, scenarios, really anything involved with modifying the game. If there is a good thread that would help me out a redirect may be all it takes.
