Long lag after unit action.

Ever since I got Civ V last year, I've had problems with long lags after a unit action or city action. It doesn't happen on every unit, but it seems to happen almost every turn. I haven't found any pattern to it. I expect a long delay after hitting 'next turn' while it processes other AI civs, but this is just a delay after performing a unit action like moving/attacking, or doing something with a city like changing production. It will sit for 15-20 seconds before finally moving to the next unit/city, etc.

I thought it might just be my graphics card even though I had it set to minimal settings, but I bought a new graphics card yesterday and set every setting to max and the graphics/gameplay is just fine, but I still get these occasional really long delays.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit version.

Anyone else have this problem or figure out a solution?

You could try varifying the local files through steam. There may be a glitch in one.
