Looking to buy Civilization V

Hi,

I received Civ 4 as a gift and can't use it because I have Yosemite. I'm really interested in playing this game and was thinking maybe I'll buy Civilization V. The system requirements don't tell me if this will play on yosemite. Can anyone tell me if it does or will I have the same problem as with 4?

Civ V is fine in Yosemite.

Civ 5 and BE work fine for me with OS X 10.10.1.

There is a bundle on sale at the Steam store where you can get all the Civ versions for Mac
(Civ 3 Complete, Civ 4, Civ 5 and Beyond Earth) for 55.29. This doesn't include any DLC.
