Japanese Empire
Monarch Level
Standard Pangea
Victory: All enabled- Going for domination or conquest.
This game has two objectives- The first of course is to win. The second is that as soon as we win, a member of the team will be declared Shogun of the Japanese Empire. Here is how that will work. I have played to 2920BC (Turn 27). There are 5 warrior units, one for each player, all with no experience located in the capital of Kyoto. Each unit is considered a Daimyo similar to the C3C scenario. The objective at the end of the game is to have a Daimyo with the most Experience Points. That Daimyo will be declared Shogun of the Empire.
As each player takes their turn sets, you are trying to obtain as many XPs as possible for your Daimyo. You may use other players Daimyos as you see fit during the game. However, if at any time another players Daimyo is lost in combat, you are disgraced, and your own Daimyo must commit Seppuku. At that point, the next appropriate unit out of the build queue must replace any lost Daimyos. Only Melee or Gunpowder units may be Daimyos. If at any time you are not satisfied with your Daimyo, you may always replace it with another unit from the city build queues, or feel free to upgrade your current one.
It should make for some interesting Palace Intrigue. Any interest?
