I am curious to know if Aspyr is making Civ VI available in the Mac App Store as a legal Steam-free option, just like with Civ V.

About your question, I think we might see a Steam version avaible for Mac before we see an App Store version. Not to discriminate or anything, but due to the App Store not so big popularity, I think that they might consider it less important this time around.

I can wait for the App Store version. Aspyr can take its time to polish it, even if it means that the App Store version were to be released once several DLCs become available.

This will probably be the case; its just easier for them to transfer all of the components to a Mac platform then go through the pain in the <snip> system that is Apple Store.
