Mac Question

How do people like the new iMac? I am curious.

Not bad, but like all Macs, it seems expensive, as compared to a relatively comparable PC.

A good PC is always cheaper, and you get XP or some equivalent Windows product for games, and Linux for everything else. Then, you should have a computer as good or better then the Mac, hopefully. Also, Mac cannot play as many Games as a PC, which is important to a lot of people. While the new iMac is nice, it is still a Mac.

I agree, the new iMac screen is sweet, I wouldn't mind one of those, but they must be costly. No, Macs are good computers, leagues ahead of Windows, don't get me wrong, but they cannot play all the games that Windows can, which is their major limitation. I might have gotten a Mac if they could play all the games that Windows can . . .

I'm not a big fan of iMacs, though I do liek the new G5s.

Macs are very nice, they just dont have all the compatibility that Windows has. Also, they're lacking a self-built system ability.

the new imac is fine. but i do prefer the latest mac laptops they're awesome with Panther© on it.

i'm happy they're not so much games for mac (in fact the games are easily developped since the mac osX) 'cause i've just enough time to play with the games available.

Actually, you have a good point, hawai, I have very little time for games as well . . . but in the summer, after Grade 12 is over!!!

I would agree that the latest Mac Labtops are nice though, very, very nice . . .

The iMac is cool, but can't be compared to a G4 iBook.

I am typing this with a 20 inch iMac Now. It is a fast machine i love it and will love it for many years!
