I'm probably really dumb...but I was playing the Americans last night, and I tried to attack using the Machine Gun unit. I couldn't do anything but fortify, and hang out... Is anyone else having this problem? Or am I just overlooking something?

If I remember correctly, machine gunners cannot attack, only defend. I don't recall where I saw this, and since I am at work I do not have access to my game materials, but this is probably the problem.

i believe this is correct and the info came from firaxis (the official site?) which showed some of the new units. but i remember reading this as well....somewhere.
