make game remember resolution

i want to make the game have the 1280/1027 ( or whaever) resolution but the game start with 1027/720
i want to change but every time i do the game doesnt remember and i have to do it again and again every time i start game or mods

Q: And so does the other options (graphics, anti-aliasing, etc.)?
Are you experiencing the same trouble outside the game, like restarting time and date setting, or something like that?
