Hi!! I want to share with you, guys...
I found an excellent prog - Video UserPic . it converts video files to gif ! you can make your own avatars !! I think it'll be helpful to all =)

It really wouldnt be since you cannot use animated avatars on here.

Video UserPic is also not free as far as I can tell.

There are other ways to make a gif out of a video clip or file. One is using VirtualDub. You simply load up the file, export it as an image sequence, and then use your preferred image editing software that can output gifs from a series of pictures. Best of all, VirtualDub is free, and GIMP, which can be used to output the gif is too!

Yeah... You can use animated avatars not only here... So I think it's useful!!!
& what about price... It has trial.. without time and feature limit...
