I play C3C on monarch and am wondering how others deal with managing cities once they are well past the OCN? Some specific questions:

Does anybody really MM ALL their cities all the way through the game, or just focus on the core after a certain point?

What the hell do you do with those really non-productive outer towns, after rushing some culture to prevent flips and get some border expansion?

It seems the better players pick and choose where to place barracks (usually just the cities that will be heavy unit producers). I go nuts when I need to do upgrades if I don't have barracks everywhere. Are there better tips on how to handle upgrading troops efficiently?

Will a switch from Republic to Democracy make enough difference in corruption and bonus commerce to offset the unit support cost when you are well above the OCN?

Once I'm really huge my FP has already been built and seems too close to the capital to be that helpful. What are rules of thumb for when it makes sense to relocate?

I know that's a lot of questions but hopefully it's a common theme of what do you do once you get big. I'm trying to avoid my urge to continually abandon games so I can start over and play in the AA when none of this stuff is an issue....

I let them be.

Yes. Not me though. :p

Workers, or specialist farming.

Shuffle your troops around, and all your units will eventually be upgraded, especially if you have rails.

It depends, but Communism is what you wanna do.

Rules of thumbs are stupid. Besides, you can't relocate your FP anyway. If you mean Palace jump, then it is when the jump would bring two distinct cores.

I agree. AA is the best. :D

Communist is the govt to go. if that still doesn't work use policemen anti corruption specialists.
