Map I made, can I play with my friends online...

I have made many maps and downloaded some peoples maps. I was wondering how do I play a map I created against a friend online? I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't. Civ V MP is broken in almost every aspect including the fact that you can't use mods or modded maps in MP.

but then again multiplayer is suck for a game like Civ5 anyway.

No you can't use custom maps or mods in multiplayer (yet).

(And although some people find MP broken, I thoroughly enjoy MP, never have any problems with it. It's a nice experience and a lot better than SP )

Some players who don't like mp mode are often afraid to lose on a regular basis. You always ''feel'' stronger in sp mode. No custom maps yet, but it's not a big deal. There is enough map types to make some fun.
