Mary Morbus and the Altar Victory

1. Did Arthendain finally succeed in his mission of finding her? And in the actual world of Erebus, is it known as to which nation Mary serves?
2. What does building the 7th Altar do? Does it finally prove to the One that creation is improving and gets him back into the world (and give the builders some great blessing) or something else?
3.In this sub-forum, why isn't there a thread for individual lore questions?

1) Not in the game, and no, I don't think so.
2) I believe it allows the building civ to ascend into the true heaven.
3) Because it's easier to find specific information (Such as, say, stuff about Mary Morbus and the Altar victory) when there are specific threads on it?
