Master of Magic fans here?

[Higher Game]

I LOVE this game! I got the "abandonware" version of the game, since it hasn't been in stores for years. No chance of me buying it legally, so I had to get it the dirty way. It was worth it! I have had so much fun with this game! It's very much like Magic: The Gathering. The 5 color types are identical, and there is both summoning and relying on armies built in cities. It's like a combination of Civ 2 and MTG, and it now steals more of my time than any other game.

Played it years ago. Enjoyed it a lot. Esp when I began churning out ultra-elite paladins en masse.

Still have it on my HD, somewhere.

It's a great game - I hope someone will make a sequel.

I loved Master of Magic. MY favorite game of all time.... if only it had an AI to make awesome heros.

The last time I played it, I had a really good game going. Once I finished, I wait to see my score and it was.................... -254 !!!!!!!!!

I like MOM. Quite bad that such excellent game still have no sequels. Aow2 is nearly MOM but it is not free-play as MOM, and is not such global.

Many great ideas of MOM still have no others implementations...

Yes I kept my 386 so I can still play it. I loaded it on my XP Celeron 2.0 Ghz laptop, but can't get it to run. Wants expanded memory or some such error message. I'd also love to run 1830, which gets the same error message. The XP DOS emulator gets me o so close, but no cigar.

It will let me play CIV 1, its a little weird with no diagonal move control and starts with really slow moves, but speeds up later.

I still play it sometimes, I managed to find a copy of the original game years ago and got it running under W2K. The trick is to run with a software clled VDM Sound and without music.
