In building a new scenario map, I'm pretty sure I've found another civ 5 limit.
With roughly 460 (+/-a couple) preset cities on a giant size map I would consistently get a "Civ 5 has stopped working, checking for a solution" crash just before a game would begin on it with load scenario checked. I suspected too many cities, so I went through the map and deleted 66 cities that I thought were expendable. Viola! The scenario now loads with no crash.
I suppose I could go in and get an exact number on where the game begins crashing, but that just sounds about as fun as stabbing myself in the eye with a pencil. The strange thing imo is that whatever the city limit happens to be, it is not a 2^x number. I was glad to find this out too, because otherwise I would have had to delete another 140 cities or so to get under 256.
Anyways, I just wanted to post this for others to know about so that it can be avoided in the future. If anyone thinks something else was likely causing the crash please let me know also.
