Micrometer-thick skin and you.

Starlifter, you are evil.

That has to be the funniest thing I've seen all week! :goodjob:

For your sake, I hope floppa has a sense of humor... ;)

MODERATOR ACTION: Moderation moderated the modern monitoring moderator moderating malfeasant malcontents.
Floppa21 is now a Super Mod: all complaints now handled here.

Altough funny, I'll agree with AoA that it's overboard, starlifter. ;)

I think all these threatening mod tags in bold and deep red shld be reserved for serious issues, and not joked around... not even by mods. Otherwise in the long run, will undermine the serious tone of the mod tags.

Aw geez! I found it amusing and luckily no pms were sent to me... :p Yah don't get banned starlifter, change it! I'll ban you for no good reason at all when I become mod if you want...

Hehe... I noticed... You and Becka and Unknown... I wondered about a conspiracy plot afoot, then I thought maybe just trying to protect yourselves for when I DO become a banning juggernaut... :p Now if "Complaints about Mod actions" are to be answered by me... :D :D :D I'll do that. But then who will they complain to about ME? Ach tu lieber...

Obviously they will complain to TF. Like I have said before, floppa ain't the Great Lord; TF is (repeated here for your benefit). :D :p

I went to change it & it was done already to how it looks now. I added an edit of retraction, too. :)

The 4 reasons I made the original post in an attempt at humor with the flow of the thread were:

(1) because of all the red "mod actions" of a humorus nature in this thread,
(2) everyone "knows" about Floppa21 & the ficticious "SuperMod" references (even in the 1st red 'mod action' in the thread refers to Floppa),
(3) no insults or even references to real mods were made, and
(4) I didn't see a reference to such posts in the Rules list of your footnote (though it is common sense one should not attempt to impersonate a real mod, and probably should be written as your post's footnote suggests).

What I wrote in my own post seemed to be obvious humor, esp; with the consecutive M-words, Floppa reference, and winking smiley after it (personally, I still think it's funny, in the flow of this thread with all the prior red "mod actions" which are still there), but will concede your point without objection. :)

However, why are some people earlier in the thread actually simulating a mod action (e.g, with full wording & footnote)? Or are those really true mod actions?

@ floppa: if you want me to remove your name, Floppa, lemme know :D .

I see the other post was edited, very good.

To my fellow mods, please refrain from using mod tags as a joke, they diminish the effect of when they are serious.

Moderator Action: Ok, fine, we'll stop. Hear that Gonzo, stop it

No really. Mod tags are not a joke. I won't do it anymore. :D
Really.

But that did raise a question. What if I break a rule, don't I get to mod tag myself? :D

That was a joke to. Mod tags are not a joke. :king:

If you break a rule, then you are mine, for a personal re-education session.

Why don't you shut the **** up. I've had enough of you and your attitude. Why don't you go to school and learn how to spell before talking about re-education, Lefty. ;)

Now that I flamed can I be re-educated :D

And for those of you who haven't caught on to the sarcasm of this post, well, this post is sarcastic. Lefty is quite educated. Or should I say the honorable Lefty Scaevola. <--I'm not kidding, he's a judge or some crap like that

As for this thread, this is really quite off topic :D

I'm honored that the lot of you have thrown a pajama party in my thread. Enjoy.

On another topic, any chance of giving us the ability to close our own threads? And, who edited my sig?

It may be a long time ago but I seem to remember the vast majority of micrometers I used in labs being quite substantial. They have to be relatively thick to withstand the pounding when dropped by scientists at least as thick in the course of experiments. Ask civ1-addict if you are worried about the flimsiness of micrometers in this day and age.

I think you mis-read the topic. Sorry.

See, that was tongue-in-cheek sarcasm! Some of you should be taking notes. Also, who edited my sig?

K-D is right, it was TF. He is the only one who has access to edit sigs, not even the mods can.

People can't close their own threads because people would close threads that were still active and could cause lots of problems.
