Middle earth mod

I hope this modder is still active or at least checking this forum. After I unzip the Middle Earth mod into the BTS/MODS folder, it shows up on the mods menu but I get an error:
GFC error: Failed to initialize the primary control theme

Can anybody help me get this running?
I'm on a Win10 64 bit system

Could you write how you solved the problem? That would be helpful if somebody else ends up with the same problem. Otherwise this thread will be completely useless.

Of course. I should have thought of that.
It was, of course, my failure to think things through. I'm on Steam and I tried to install it in the wrong directory. It needs to be in:

Steam/Steam Apps/common/Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword/Beyond the Sword/Mods
