The scenario I'm working on takes place in the middle-east (+Afghanistan, +USA) and I'm looking for all kinds of suitable graphics because I'm not a good painter.

I could also need some help with the unique units for US and Israel, any suggestions?

I am making a series of scenarios on Israel, so just... keep off!... ;) :D

You should really take a peek at what units there are in other scenarios, for instance Andrew P. Living's Crises scenario or in the graphics division of the downloads section on this site.

My scenario isn't centered around Israel. So no competition here.

Where can I download Andrew's scenario?

Thank you, I got it now :)

A long time ago before my computer died due to a virus, I started making a scenario on Afghanistan 1992-1997. This mainly about the rise of the Taliban and the brief alliances between the Northern Alliance and General Dostums men. Anyway, since my computer has comeback from a computer engineer, I haven't been bothered to continue. (Though I might do.)

Anyways heres the pics:

This zip. is a collection of info I made to help in my rather fruitless creation of Afghanistan scenario:

p.s. Don't try to do an afghan scenario because it will drive you half mad with all the contradicting info and information overload.

Thanks!

Hows it going, I'm just wondering because I would like to test the scenario once finished

Not to well, sadly. I've lots of problems to deal with and many things to think about so please be patient.

I can show you some graphics but not much more...

Why do you think I'm doing a scenario on Georgia, rmsharpe?!

I see. Please ignore the incorrect geography and city names. It's just a demo graphic not the actual map.

These are the provinces and provincial cities
*Which faction controlled each city is true of 1992, then Herat and Bamian* fell to the Taliban.

Province Provincial City Faction
==============================================
Herat Herat Ismail Khan
Farah Farah Taliban
Nimruz Zaranj Taliban
Helmand Lashkar Gah Taliban
Kandahar Qandahar Taliban,
Zabol Omat Taliban
Oruzgan Tarin Kowt Taliban
Baghis Qal'eh-ye Now Taliban
Ghowr Chaghcharan Taliban
Faryab Meymanah Taliban
Paktika Zarah Sharan Taliban
Ghazni Ghazni Taliban
Samangan Samangan Taliban
Sar-e Pol Sar-e Pol Taliban
Jowzian Sheberghan N.I.M.
Balkh Mazar-e Sharif N.I.M.
(Mazar-i-Sharif)
Kondoz Konduz N.I.M.
Takhar Taloqan N.A.
Baghlan Baghlan N.A.
Badakhshan Feyzabad N.A.
Konar Asadabati Taliban
Nangarhar Jalalabad Taliban
Laghman Mentarlam (?) Taliban
Vandar Kowt-e-Ashrow Taliban
Parvan Charikar Taliban
Kansa Raq Taliban
Paktia Gadeyz Taliban
Bamian Bamian Wahadat
Kabol KABUL Taliban

N.A. = Northern Alliance
N.I.M. = National Islamic Movement - joined N.A. in 1997
Wahadat = Ethnic/religious group descended from the Mongol invasion in the 12th century - famously tough fighters. They are mostly Shiite Muslim and thus are most underthreat from a Taliban government. Allied with NIM.

*I'm not completely sure Bamian fell, as the province and city are usually mixed up. Probably the city fell but not the province.

If you need any other help, like leaders, other factions etc.

I am tempted to restart doing the scenario, though not without help, if anyone's interested? I may even try to do it for Civ III as it seems to be easier now.
