MIDI Music?

Is there any way to get the music from Civilization, perhaps as MIDI files? I've been wanting to use the Babylonian or Greek music from the game as ringtones on my phone, but I'm clueless on how to get my hands on either of these tunes.

Yep, I saw at least one of those posts, and downloaded the WAV versions. They're pretty cool, and I'm probably going to set them as some of my Windows sounds. Unfortunately, my phone only uses MIDI though.

There are freeware/shareware wav->midi converter. I used some already, to convert into midi format, for my website Don't remember the names though but google should help.

In my version of Civ II (2.42), I can play music from Civ I in Windows Media Player. It doesn't have all of the Civ's songs, but I'm pretty certain both the Greeks and Babylonians' music is on there. Just pop it in and play it like a regular cd, maybe you've got it, too. I recent;y discovered it by accident and almost pooped my pants; I'm going to start playing trumpet again - I used to play the Greek* melody and I hope to relearn it again soon.



*I'm pretty sure, but don't quote me on that.
