IMO, The Pink option is virtualy simmiler to the Red line.

The red route is slightly sub-optimal, better would be N (hill), NW (hill), N (mountain), E (pop), NE.

The blue route but bent to the south would reveal information about the area surrounding those juicy cattle.

I will repeat the advice I gave in the discussion thread, please make the instructions general in nature so that the DP can modify the route as required to account for actual conditions.

Also you should plan on having the top two routes explored because it is likely we'll have another warrior to deal with. Recommend leaving that warrior near home until the hut is popped.

i voted blue, but would have voted south if there was one

I voted for the Blue Route as we need time to recover from our last baddie hut adventure.

We need to look beyond just one warrior - looking at the build queue we may have a second or even a third before our settler. The instructions need to be general enough to allow their use if we have them, while covering the options of defending the city while the hut is popped or escorting the settler. It would be a waste if they just sat in the city twiddling their thumbs.

I'd start out on the yellow path until reaching the mountain, and then turn due east to scout possible locations for the second city along the coast.

I agree with DZ on this one I think. The whole GH action was not a good experience

More warriors-good, and also, 40J's suggestion sounds like a reasonable plan
