Forgive this probably silly question, but what is meant by 'milking'?

You destroy every other civ except for one who you leave with one city, take up as much teritory as possible without triggering domination, and then just sit around for until 2050, so that you get the highest possible score.

Sounds like a bug that needs to be fixed.

As far as you're concerned isn't everything a bug or a flaw?

bug? not really you may get more points if you destroy them early on.
Actually, it is more likely to get a higher score by milking it rather than early conquest.

God is right. On tiny and small maps you will score better by finishing early most of the time. But on huge, large, and most standard maps, you will get a higher score by claimining 66.5% of the world, build marketplaces, aqueducts, harbors, and hospitals in every city. Then just wait until 2050 A.D. and on the last turn kill the last enemy or launch your spaceship.

I've done milking in Civ2 occasionally and found it more boring than watching paint dry. I definitely think that there should be much less reward for it.

If you are really going to bother with milking, you can always turn off domination.

I how do you even get to the point to milk? I can barely get out of the stone age without getting destroyed... One easy level too!!!

In my own self defense I use to play CIV2 as well as the CTP clones and I was good with those, but man this one is impossible!!! (maybe a good tip is not to play drunk?)
