Hi!
I am wondering about the playability of Civ4 if your computer meets the minimum requirements..
I have an Athlon 1.24 Ghz, 512 MB RAM, a Radeon 9600 Pro, DVD-rom, plus a lot of free HD space.
The requirement I feel most concerned about is the processor.. I could buy another memory unit, but to upgrade processor would be a hassle, as I've just understood that the Socket A (462) seems obsolete by now requiring a motherboard upgrade, if I want a new processor.
Would you say Civ4 is playable at the minimum requirement, or not? I don't mind if I have to turn down the graphics, its the gameplay I am after.
Oh - and I havent bought Civ4 yet, but am on the verge of doing so, I just want to know if it would be a good deal, or a lemon, because of my computer..
Thanks in advance, this is my first post here!
