Missing diplomacy text

I have created everything for a custom civ, however the text for my leader in diplomacy doesn't show - even when I include the text file with the information. Is there a certain XML file I have to reference this diplomacy text in? I checked in the CIV4_Leaderinfos, and in the diplomacy text file itself.

There's a middleman: CIV4DiplomacyInfos.xml in the GameInfo folder. That's what links up leaders with diplomacy text. You have that, right? Other than that I have no idea

I had placed it in the wrong folder until you pointed this out to me - thank you, forgot about gameinfo folder

alright, unseen problem until now - the greeting message still does not show. All other text is fine

can someone go through step by step and outline every place where diplo information must be changed for a leader?

I have your same problem.
8/11 of the Leader Heads I imported into my mod display every diplomacy text except the welcoming intro.

ATM I'm trying to single out why some use the pre-generated greeting text, while others dont...
