I am having a problem with my mod that really baffles me and I am wondering if anyone could supply additional routes to the below as to solve the problem. One of the players of my mod runs Win7 and is experiencing a missing Interface. He tells me both the mod and the game are installed correctly.
I have already suggested the following things and none of them have worked.
1. Press Alt+I to toggle Interface. I also suggested Alt tab as I've read that it sometimes helps minimizing the game and then get it back up.
2. The .ini edit to remove CustomAssets and CustomGrahpics.
3. Setting the Game to English only.
4. Last, I told him to enable Python Exceptions in the Civ4Config. No error messages were shown at all!
None of this has helped and the Interface is still missing. Does anyone have any sort of ideas here, because I am at a total loss now! I personally know that my mod works well under Win Vista and indeed Windows 7 as well.
