Does anyone know of a utility out there that I can use when I have an AI civ ask me for MPP and Rop that I can tell right there if they are in a war with anyone?

Normally I have to say no then check F4 to see if there at war with anyone then if I like the idea of an MPP and Rop with them I have to go back and ask for it again.

aww come on seal the babs aren't so bad, it's the Germans I can't stand playing against, so my solution was just to BE the germans

:D

Not in my games. No matter where I am on the map in realtion to the Babylonians, he will declare war on me. I could be a neighbor or on the other side of the planet. I had one game where we were at war almost from the moment we met until I finally sacked Babylon..... When peace was made, he declared war again in the next few turns.

There were 4 civs between us and the whole war was via amphibious landings. Everytime I asked for pease, he wants all my known techs plus gold. Hard to make a successful landing with galleys that can not even make it across the ocean with a chance of sinking.

Well when they ask you, try pressing enter, this will bring you out of diplomatic screen. Then go and check if they are at war. If you want to do the deal then, click back on their name and the deal will be where it left off.

maybe its because you were a republic when you first met old Hammurabi...for him the prefered gov is monarchy and the shunned gov is republic...as for the Russians the prefered gov is communism and the shunned gov is democracy. so if you are under a gov shunned by another civ you will see a very unhappy face in your foreign advisor screen  . ironically, i always see the babs switch to republic and the russians switch to democracy...what hypocrites

hey Sealman another thing is look at his agression level when i added the Turkish civ to my game i put them to have a 100% aggression level, and so the moment he was about equal my score he declared war on me even though i had twice the power that could be the problem if the government stuff isn't although i thought the shunned government meant the government you would lease expect them to be in like America would never be a communist country and China is vice versa

During peacetime the AI loves the republic or democracy even if they're their shunned government, and I think this is really stupid. Russia is always mad at me for being democracy (I know this because I've done a test where I edited every AI player to shun democracy and when I switched to democracy everyone went from polite to annoyed). BTW China's shunned gov is monarchy not democracy as many seems to think so.
